WoO Night 1 - 2/6

Just looking at the starting positions, one would think that this was a snoozer as Donny Schatz won from the pole, but it was hardly the case as he had to earn it. Jason Sides started outside front row and gave Schatz a slider into turn 3 on the opening lap to take the lead on the nonstop 30 lapper. Schatz was able to run him down on lap 11 and took the lead for good as he went on to win the WoO opener. The track was mostly a one-laner on the high side, leaving it open for slidejob-city, as there were a few of those. The race would have been that much better had there been a bottom, but atleast it wasn't rubber-downed and it went nonstop giving the fans lap traffic.
